We're baaaaaaaaaaaaaack

So I have been a slacker with taking pictures of groceries. Partially because we haven't been grocery shopping too much. Partially because I forgot. Let's bring you up to speed.

Two weeks ago: Extra Virgin olive oil is expensive. Like $8 worth of our hard earned cash. We've had it on our "to buy" list for at least a month as we were not going to buy it until it was BOGO. We are stubborn and will make things that don't need it instead of paying full price. As luck would have it, BOGO rolled around, and as a bonus, there was a printable coupon. Score! That I accidently printed twice. $2.94 per bottle and 63% savings! Add to that Coke 12 packs were 4 for $12, making them $3 each instead of the $5.50 Publix usually charges (seriously who buys it at that price?). 45% savings.

Last week:  Have you met Paul? He loves dessert. BOGO and a coupon amounts to $1.70 for a $4.59 cake. 63% off. 8 servings. 21 cents per slice.Yes please. For the record, that was the only thing I purchased on that trip and the girl at Publix was jealous.

Tonight: Three coupons and an online rebate were calling my name. Mueller's pasta (whole grain and hidden veggies) were marked down to $1/box (usually $1.57) I had $1.55 in coupons which made each box 48 cents (69% savings). My other coupon was for Finish Quantum dish cleaner. Usually $6.99, BOGO less .75 coupon, leads to $2.75 (61% saving). Yippee! Ben & Jerry's and the corn dogs were BOGO. The salad was $2. The garlic bread is BOGO and I will be printing my online rebate to get one of those free as well. $3 for 3 loafs. That would have been $9 regularly. 67% savings on that too.
