Redemption

Happy 1 cent item day! Despite all the sulking Sunday night after being told no being reminded that coupons expire, I busted out my coupon binder and the new ad to plan a trip solely to show Publix who's the boss redeem myself.

My couponing buddy came along to buy the necessities of any night before the snow/ice/cold weather: milk, bread and Honey Nut Cheerios. Paul did great with his "must haves." The bread and Cheerios were BOGO. That dreaded milk was what did us in, sigh. Say hello to most recent addition to the family: 

Can you spot the best deal? .... The 10 pack Tangerine Emergen-C and 10 pack Cranberry-Pomegranate Emergen-C that we were paid 50 cents to buy! Equally as good: Jimmy Delights egg-white and turkey-sausage bowls, for free. And of course, the one cent item rocked, the paper towels. Soup was 75 cents a can instead of $2.50 and the toothpaste was 70 cents instead of $2.90! When all is said and done, $37.28 worth of groceries for $11.61! Hello 69.5% savings! I think we have breakfast covered for awhile.
