Twas the night before...

P'jones and I decided to adopt an ornament from the McKendree Giving Tree this year. Since I was quick on my toes, I snatched up the 4 year old girl who wanted a toy. A. As in ONE. I can choose to ignore instructions at the most opportune time. Could you really imagine waking up to one toy on Christmas morning when you were 4? Neither could I.

I took my little day off work and spent 3 hours at Ross and another at the Dollar Store with the goal of spending no more than $25, yet buying the most entertaining toys I could find. I think the Ross employees thought I was a new employee as I stacked up my finds on the floor, sat and examined the choices and neatly put the other one hundred toys back of the shelf. Ladies and gentlemen, $25 can go a long way to brightening someone's Christmas. See:

1. Disney Fairies Paint n' Sparkle! A story book that you paint, read and fill in questions about you and your friends.
2. Disney Pixie Pals Tea Party. Complete with teacups, a teapot silverware, and a mini tea set for two fairies.
3. Disney Princess Floor Dominoes.
4. Care Bears and Disney Animals color and activities books and crayons. Yes I read the stories in both books. Paul even had the pleasure of hearing the Disney Animal stories. Come on, it had the Lion King!
5. Zoobles bunny and fish. Basically you fold the ears and other body parts in so it is a ball. When you put the ball on top of the accessory the animal comes with, it pops open into funness!

I wanted to rip most of the packages open and play, so I had to think quickly for a solution. WRAPPING PAPER. Wrapping everything in cute little snow man paper prevented any shenanigans from happening before these finds could make it to some happy little girl. Makes my heart happy.
